This is my third and final piece of Kirk Pengilly. It has been a great opportunity to get to know and explore the many facets of Kirk as a man.
For this piece, I wanted to capture another side of Kirk, the side the public doesn’t see, away from the lights, media, stages around the world and of course the rock ‘n’ roll. I wanted to share Kirk’s deep-rooted connection with the rainforest. This is a place to go away from the prying eyes of the media, far, far away from the rocker lifestyle. This is a place of solace, the forest meeting the water’s edge, the lush greens, the warm winds and those cascading waterfalls that sweep all of our troubles away. This is a place that can allow us to stop and take a moment to breathe, take in the present moment.
I ask of you to do the same. STOP. Breathe. Take a moment to get lost in the rainforest with me and appreciate the simple things in life…Enjoy!
