‘SHIA’ – Barn Owl

For six weeks, I was bombarded relentlessly with the sight of this magnificent Barn Owl. With her outspread wings and piercing eyes, she was flying directly at me with pure power. I tried to force her away, however the more I did, the more I would feel her energy. She came at me from every direction, day, night, it didn’t matter! To be honest I really didn’t want to paint an owl, nor, apparently, did I want to deal with the negative hooks that held me down!

To make it all disappear, all I had to do was to follow the signs and open the door to the other side. In doing this, ‘SHIA’ opened a hidden connection from deep within me. An emerging of true spirit that would recapture and realign me with my true path. She guided me with her intuition, gave me the ability to reveal what had control of me, the energy that had been drifting aimlessly around me without my knowledge.

By sharing her power, she allowed me to see the true reality, beyond the illusion of my mind. The ability to deeply explore the unknown and the magic of my life. This was a gift, a time to sit, pause and listen carefully to that inner voice and be guided to recapture lost knowledge. By uncovering my hidden potential and abilities, she revealed more of my intuitive nature, allowing me to focus more directly on my creative energy than ever before.

These past six weeks have shown me to be attentive to the things that usually go below my radar, to look for the little things and make connections. Such awarenesses are now of particular importance to me. This is necessary for me to make the connection to my art, to give me truth, intuitive knowledge, inspiration and guidance to make this necessary shift as I rebuild myself from the inside out. By removing old habits left over from my previous life, I have been given more insight into this moment of transition. It is a time to let it all go and be FREE.

Here I soar, wings outspread,

Looking for thermals to lift me higher than before…

Fill my wings with LOVE universe,

Because here I am,
