Latest news from the
Solitude Art Gallery / Studio…
Wednesday 23rd March 2016
Hi Solitude Art Tribe!Well, it is time again to send out my newsletter…It’s hard to believe that was a month! This month, we have had higher amounts of visitors dropping in and viewing my art, with plenty of fresh contacts and enquiries on various artworks. Very pleasing during the normally quite part of the year. So a big thank you for visiting the Gallery. The Gallery has been overhauled, I stripped down all of the artwork and over two days re-strung with a fresh new look and plenty of artwork that has not been seen in a while….Drop in and check it out!I have been busy in the studio working on two of my three major artworks for this year’s portrait competitions, Archibald, Doug Moran and the Black Swan…Nothing like going big, not only just on one but three new works! It is refreshing to be able to work again with some large canvases. I have managed to block in the next three months of painting to just purely concentrate on these works which will be a positive step in getting the detail and the finished result I would like to achieve. There have been plenty of interesting comments in the open studio about the pieces and what I am trying to achieve with this year’s entries. The Solitude Art Gallery wishes everyone a great and safe Easter spending time with family and LOVEd ones! The Solitude Art Gallery will be CLOSED over the Easter Holidays…The Gallery will ALSO remain CLOSED until we we re-open on Thursday 7th April 10am to 5pm….Regards
Easter Trading hours: We will be CLOSED and I will be also taking a short break after Easter…The Gallery will remain CLOSED until we re-open on Thursday 7th April, 10am to 5pm….

Tear away the toughened skin and find the inner beauty we all have. Inside each one of us is a fragile being. Nurture it, share your heart and expose your passion for life. Look past that mirror, the face that consumerism moulds, and allow yourself to…Read moreHERE:
